Lithos is a fictional geology brand concept built to make a dense subject feel tactile and immediate. The original cursor-reveal cover now opens into a cinematic field atlas shaped by butterflies, specimens, deep-time strata, and storm-lit caves.
Read the ground beneath you.
Geology is already visual: strata, mineral grain, pressure, age, and scale. The challenge was to keep that richness from becoming a museum wall of facts. Lithos begins with one confident hero moment, then unfolds into a continuous, motion-led descent through observation and deep time.
The hero uses the cursor as a small field instrument: an image layer follows the pointer inside a soft-edged mask, revealing a second geological surface below. It is simple enough to understand immediately and distinctive enough to make the brand memorable. The interaction idles cleanly, respects reduced-motion preferences, and falls back gracefully on touch screens.
The demo is an evolving single-page experience: clear brand framing, a signature pointer reveal, scroll-driven specimen inspection, exploding geological layers, depth-aware butterflies, and a responsive mobile treatment. It demonstrates art direction, interaction design, atmospheric transitions, and production-minded frontend craft in one continuous visual system.
We build distinctive, conversion-first sites for businesses that want to be remembered for more than a template.
