Photos sell the house. But they scroll past.
A gallery of twenty photos is a gallery of twenty decisions the buyer has to make. Video is one decision. It holds attention on a feed where a static image does not, and it is the format every platform pushes hardest right now.
The reason most listings under a million dollars still have no video is cost and logistics, not appetite. A videographer is several hundred dollars and another day in the property. For a lot of listings that math never works, so the video never gets made.
Start from the photos that already exist.
Every shot in this film began as a single still. Each one gets a specific camera move - a push toward the front door, a slow track along the kitchen island, a rise away from the rear elevation - and runs about five seconds.
- The order is a walk, not a playlist. Aerial, approach, front door, foyer, great room, kitchen, dining, primary suite, ensuite, upper floor, terrace, and out to dusk. It follows how a buyer would physically move through the house.
- Every move is smooth on purpose. No handheld sway, no walking bounce. We measure it: this film's shots scored 0.041 to 0.110 on frame-to-frame motion variance, where anything above 0.25 reads as shake.
- It opens and closes outside. Establishing aerial at the top, twilight exterior at the end. The film has a shape rather than being a list of rooms.
So the sample is ours to show.
Listing photos belong to the photographer or the brokerage. A demo built from a real listing is a licensing question waiting to happen, and it goes stale the moment the property sells. So we designed a property instead: Alder Bluff, a black cedar house on a granite bluff over a lake.
Thirty images were generated for it - exteriors, every room, the dock, a twilight shot. One hero exterior was made first and used as the reference for all twenty-nine others, which is what keeps it recognisably the same building from the driveway to the ensuite.
On a real job this step does not happen. We animate the photos you send us. We do not generate rooms, and we do not change what a property looks like. Generating the house was only necessary to build a sample we own outright.

- An end card with the address, the agent's name, and the brokerage logo. The one on this film is the fictional address.
- Two business days, and one revision round to swap, reorder, or re-cut shots.
